RV Checklist is a personal organizer for the steps you choose to keep. The iPhone app is being prepared for its first App Store release.

Create without importing

  1. Choose Create checklist and enter a name.
  2. Add your own steps, with optional group names. Use the arrows to change order.
  3. Choose Save checklist. Empty lists are allowed; add a step before starting a run.

Keep your place

Start a checklist, tap steps as you go, and pause when needed. Progress is saved on the device. Editing the saved list affects the next run; an existing run keeps its original steps and name. Starting a new run replaces that list's previous progress.

Import your own list

Paste one step per line. Use ## Group name to group steps and List: My list to name the list. CSV files can use section,item columns; quoted commas and multiline CSV fields are supported. Review the order and duplicate warnings before adding. Imports add new lists.

Back up before changing devices

Open Backup & privacy → Export full backup and choose Save to Files. Save the JSON file somewhere outside the app. A backup contains all saved lists and their most recent runs. Restore it through Import or restore; restoring adds copies and preserves existing lists. Text and CSV exports are readable copies of the selected list.

There is no automatic app-to-app sync. Deleting the app removes local app data. Device backups and exported files are managed separately.

Editing and deletion

Remove a step in the editor and use Undo before saving if needed. Back navigation asks before discarding unsaved edits. Deleting a checklist requires confirmation and removes its saved run. Keep a backup if you may need it later.

This app organizes your personal steps. It does not supply expert safety, maintenance, towing or vehicle inspection advice. A completed checklist is not a safety certification. Follow your vehicle manufacturer's guidance.
